The remains are primarily made of stone. Here, stone becomes an analogue for the human body: an outward mass containing a hidden potential for transcendence.
The project duplicates the mass of each remain vertically, allowing its concealed interior to be released. This inner self appears as a transparent emblem containing the sacred secret of matter.
The site becomes a catalyst through which the visitor may approach an otherwise inaccessible realm.
